The JBR Short Shift Adapter for the Hyundai Veloster N is the most innovative short shift adapter available. It's design is backed by 11 years of short shift plate, shift arm and full replacement short shifter engineering and development. The JBR Short Shift Adapter for the Veloster N is the only choice for those wanting to reduce the long stock shifter throw by 35% while maintaining the feel, comfort and ease of the OEM shifter.
Currently, all available short shift adapters are found on the transmission end of the linkage. JBR has chosen to place the adapter on the shifter end of the linkage at the base of the OEM shifter. By doing this, the throw is reduced with little or no increase in effort required to shift and there is no increase in notchiness often associated with adapters located on the transmission end.
With longevity in mind, we chose 6061 aluminum and 18-8 stainless hardware for this kit ensuring that it will withstand the abuse on the street or the track, providing a lifetime of trouble-free enjoyment.
To avoid performing the installation twice, JBR recommends purchasing the discounted Solid Shifter Base Bushings with the Short Shift Adapter.
