The COBB Intercooler Kit offers a significant increase in overall cooling capacity. \u003cstrong\u003eIntercooler Core\u003c\/strong\u003e The COBB Intercooler Kit is based around a high quality Garrett intercooler core that is 101% larger in size than the factory unit, coming in at 26.2\" x 7\" x 4.25\". At either end of the core are bespoke COBB end tanks, designed and optimized for flow and air path dispersion across the core. Combined, we see significant improvements in heat management without sacrificing airflow. \u003cstrong\u003eCharge Piping On either side of the larger core, the COBB kit utilizes 2.5\" mandrel bent aluminum tubing that is powder coated wrinkle black. Custom silicone couplers and constant tension clamps keep everything both compliant and leak-free. Mounting The COBB Intercooler fits right into where the factory intercooler sits with no modification needed on the Type R and minimal modification required on the Type S.
