The Redline Carbon Fiber Intake seamlessly blends performance and aesthetics to bring the ultimate intake for your Honda or Acura. Constructed of 2x2 twill carbon fiber and finished in a high quality gloss clear coat, the intake system's presence in your engine bay does not go unnoticed.
Construction
The main airbox is constructed of multiple layers of 2x2 twill carbon fiber sheets, a true carbon intake. High quality gloss clear finish provides fade resistance from heat and UV light. A bespoke black Redline badge sits at the front of the integrated intake ducting. The airbox lid is easily removed for service with a satisfying-to-use billet knob. Air is filtered through a large, pre-oiled filter and routed into the MAF housing. That housing is bolted to the airbox by way of a black anodized billet aluminum adapter. A wire-reinforced black silicone coupler is secured on either end with black anodized clamps for a very sleek install.
Velocity Stack MAF Housing
This intake system utilizes several unique features in an effort to maintain optimal flow for performance while minimizing turbulence. The CFD-designed velocity stack and unique air flow straightener grid are designed to smooth the incoming air flow as it passes the Mass Air Flow sensor for precise readings. The one piece high temperature plastic composite design saves weight and reduces heat transfer. The cross section of the COBB MAF housing is increased by 36% over stock to allow for additional airflow.
Installation
Installation of the Redline Intake is as simple as it comes for intakes with an integrated airbox and scoop. Follow our detailed instructions to install the supplied brackets and the entire assembly can be dropped in within a few minutes. Serviceability of the intake air filter is also straight forward once the initial installation has been completed.
Calibration
The Redline Carbon Fiber intake is compatible with COBB Stage 1+ and Stage 2 Off The Shelf Maps.
Carbon fiber parts are hand laid, slight imperfections or weave pattern variances can be expected.
This part is legal under the provisions of EPA’s Anti-Tampering Policy. COBB Tuning has established a reasonable basis (testing results) to verify that this product allows the vehicle to operate within legal emissions standards and is therefore legal to be sold for on-street use in all states that accept the legal provisions of the Clean Air Act and EPA’s Anti-Tampering Policy.

Testing with the California Air Resources Board, in order to achieve 50-state compliance, is pending. Once testing is complete with California, and an EO number is issued, this product will be updated to 50-state legal status.
